I am Dr.

Rania Abdelmonem Mostafa

Khattab. I am an Assistant Professor at Microbiology and Immunology Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. I was graduated from Faculty of pharmacy, Cairo university in 1999 (Excellent with honors).

I earned my master and Ph.D. from Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Microbiology and Immunology Department. I have many teaching experiences for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses since 1999 e.g. basic microbiology and immunology, pharmaceutical microbiology, quality control of herbal drugs, public health, infection control, and biotechnology. I have many quality assurance, students, community and research activities.

I have attended many workshops, many national and international conferences. I published many papers in international journals. I have got Cairo University International Publication Award, Egypt from 2013 to 2022.

I am interested in clinical microbiology, medical microbiology and applied microbiology. My research work covers many areas such as eye infections, vaginal infections, liver diseases and antimicrobial resistance.

I have many teaching experiences for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses since 1999 e.g. basic microbiology and immunology, pharmaceutical microbiology, quality control of herbal drugs, public health, infection control, and biotechnology. I have many quality assurance, students, community and research activities.
