Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget

• Preparing and reviewing construction project budget estimates
• Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress against established schedules
• reviewing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, suppliers and contractors
• Developing and implementing quality control programs
• Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules
• checking the purchase of building materials against applicable codes and standards
• ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress
• check design documents with architects, surveyors and engineers
• promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed
• maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management

• Maintain continuous inspection of all phases of construction to ensure compliance with plans, specification and submittals.
