Software Team Member at Aquaphoton Academy – MATE ROV Team (2024-08 – 2025-05)

• Built a React-based ROV control and monitoring GUI integrated with a FastAPI Python backend over WebSockets, interfacing with ROV sensors, motors, and watchdogs while managing configuration, user data, and system states through a PostgreSQL database.
• developed a low-latency streaming pipeline for 6 simultaneous real-time camera feeds, using deque based frame buffering and binary blob transport via websockets to eliminate lag and ensure stable, synchronized video delivery for multiple camera feeds along with other high frequency data.
• Developed underwater image processing and color correction algorithms and integrated YOLO with OpenCV for vision-based ROV tasks.
• Implemented underwater autonomous movement with the help of thruster PID control, integrating perception, control, and vehicle systems.
