Hi, I'm Shrouk Yasser, an expert Arabic/English interpreter and translator. Since 2014, I've helped many clients with translation projects. I'm a native speaker of Arabic and I have a PhD in English. I've been translating books, documents, research papers, audio and video files for multiple clients in various fields, including: medical, legal, financial, crypto, e-commerce, technical, literary, academic and educational translation.
Regarding my interpretation experience, here are some interpretation jobs that I've done before:
1- I've been doing the medical and legal consecutive Arabic interpretation for organizations that help refugees and immigrants on Tarjimly app.
2- I've done the English into Arabic simulatenous interpretation for a World Vision meeting discussing new systems to be used by their organization.
3- I've done the English into Arabic simulatenous interpretation of a Data Protection and Safety Class provided by World Vision for Sudanese audience from NGOs on Zoom. The class consisted of 8 sessions over two weeks.
4- I've done the consecutive live interpretation for Nextyn company on Zoom where I've translated from English into Arabic and from Arabic into English for two English-speaking Nextyn team members and an Arabic-speaking Egyptian expert in the field of beverages industry.
5- Moreover, I did the consecutive live translation between a group of English-speaking professors and Arabic-speaking professors at Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2019. This lasted for around 3 to 4 hours.
6- Also, I did the consecutive live translation between an English-speaking master's student and an Arabic-speaking professor at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2022. This one lasted for 1 to 2 hours.
