Currently building a multi-tenant, multi-region restaurant platform as a large-scale software engineering project, exploring service boundaries, workload-specific architecture, and production-oriented backend design.

Backend Engineering Project at Quick Bite (2026-07 – Present)

• Designed and developed the backend for a multi-tenant restaurant SaaS platform, supporting multiple restaurants, branches, users, roles, and business operations within a modular monolith architecture.
• Implemented REST APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js, with a modular architecture that separates business domains and responsibilities.
• Implemented authentication and role-based authorization, with resource-level access controls for protected operations.
• Integrated PostgreSQL for relational data modeling, using foreign keys, constraints, indexes, migrations, and transactions where required.
• Implemented Redis cache-aside for read-heavy endpoints, using TTL-based expiration and scoped cache keys.
• Built reusable backend infrastructure for request validation, centralized error handling, structured logging, correlation IDs, and dependency injection.
• Developed the backend with maintainability and future scalability in mind, evaluating service boundaries and workload-specific data-access requirements.
