The Role:
You will balance strategic oversight with operational excellence, ensuring that our Master’s and MBA programs deliver a world-class student journey. You would act as the primary bridge between our Barcelona campus and London Metropolitan University , ensuring quality, compliance, and academic rigor.
1. Strategic Team Leadership
- Empower & Lead: Manage, mentor, and coordinate a team of approximately 4 Program Coordinators.
- Performance Excellence: Conduct annual evaluations and regular syncs to align team output with institutional KPIs (Quality, Experience, Retention).
- Culture Building: Foster a solution-oriented, collaborative environment where consistency and accountability are the standards.
2. Program Oversight & The Student Journey
- Holistic Management: Oversee the academic and operational coherence of all Master and MBA programs.
- Student Experience (UX): Monitor cohort dynamics and student feedback to proactively address risks and enhance satisfaction.
- Operational Clarity: Ensure high standards of communication and engagement across the entire student lifecycle.
3. Student Success, Retention & Quality Standards
- Data-Informed Strategy: Develop and monitor KPIs related to progression, attendance, and completion rates.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify "at-risk" students early and implement preventive/corrective actions to maximize success.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest institutional standards for academic performance and student outcomes.
4. Institutional Alignment & Partnership Coordination
- London Met Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for London Metropolitan University , managing academic counseling, administrative compliance, and quality reporting.
- Policy Implementation: Translate institutional guidelines into actionable program-level strategies.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Admissions, Student Services, Careers, and Faculty to ensure a seamless "360-degree" student experience.
**Work Schedule & Environment:
- Standard Schedule: To support our faculty and students, the team covers the afternoon schedule until 19:00 during teaching weeks.
- Occasional Events: Exceptional availability until 21:00 for milestone events (Business Immersion Week, Commencement, and Career Day).
About You:
- Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking , analytical problem-solving, and managing competing priorities within an evolving international environment.
- University degree required; a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 2.5 years in a management position within higher education or a comparable complex organizational structure.
- Native or Advanced (C1) English proficiency is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), specifically Moodle .
