About Floraqueen

FloraQueen is a 20-year-old global flower and gifting e-commerce brand, operating across 100 countries in 9 languages on Shopify Plus. We are in an ambitious AI-first transformation — rebuilding every major function around intelligent automation, LLM-powered agents, and data-driven decision-making. This is not a company that talks about AI; this is a company that runs on it.

We are also the team behind MaestroCommerce, a growing suite of commercial AI agents for e-commerce brands. The AI Developer we hire will be central to both missions.

The Role

We are looking for a native AI developer — someone who grew up building with LLMs, thinks in agents, and instinctively reaches for automation before manual workflows. You will be the technical engine behind FloraQueen's internal AI transformation and a key builder of the MaestroCommerce agent platform.

In your first six months, you will work across two parallel tracks:

Track 1 — Internal Ops Automation (FloraQueen)

• Build AI agents and automation pipelines that replace or accelerate manual work across marketing, ops, and reporting
• Connect and orchestrate our core data sources: Google Ads, Shopify, Meta, BigQuery, and Google Sheets
• Automate recurring workflows — reporting, budget alerts, anomaly detection, performance summaries
• Lay the groundwork for a multi-agent orchestration layer across the business

Track 2 — MaestroCommerce Agent Suite {FloraQueen}

• Build and iterate on commercial AI agents (Don, Ray, Sol, Ivy, Bud, Max) for e-commerce automation and scale.
• Design agent architectures, tool connections, memory systems, and inter-agent communication
• Contribute to product scoping, API design, and customer-facing demos
• Work directly with the CEO to shape the technical roadmap

What You Will Build

• Autonomous agents using Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, LLMs via MCP and agent frameworks
• Integrations with Google Ads API, Shopify API, Meta API, BigQuery, and Google Sheets
• Automation pipelines using n8n, Make, Zapier, or custom code (Python / Node.js)
• Slack-based approval workflows and notification systems for business-critical decisions
• A multi-agent orchestration layer connecting real-time data to AI-driven action
• Monitoring, logging, and evaluation tooling for deployed agents

Who You Are

Hard Skills (All Required)

• Fluent in Python and/or Node.js / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs — Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI
• Familiar with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and at least one agent framework (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, custom)
• Experience with at least one automation platform: n8n, Make, Zapier
• Comfortable connecting APIs and building custom data pipelines
• Working knowledge of at least two of: Google Ads API, Shopify API, Meta API, BigQuery, Google Sheets API

Nice to Have

• Experience building or shipping a SaaS product or AI tool
• Knowledge of e-commerce business models and digital marketing metrics
• Exposure to Google Ads or Meta Ads platforms (not just the APIs)
• Experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, or long-term agent memory
• Contributions to open-source AI tooling or personal AI projects on GitHub

We expect you to stay current with the AI landscape, share what you find, and push the team's thinking forward. This is not a maintenance role. This is a building role.
