AI-Enabled Fullstack Engineer (Java - React)

Project Description:

Join a greenfield product initiative for a leading company in the fashion retail industry, where you will help design, build, and evolve a new digital solution from the ground up. Working closely with Spanish-speaking stakeholders, you will play a key role in defining the architecture, developing core product capabilities, and delivering an MVP that creates real business value.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced fullstack engineer who enjoys combining Java/Spring, React, architecture design, and AI-assisted development to turn ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

• Responsibilities:

Build and evolve a new digital product using Java/Spring Boot and React. Design solution architecture and make key technical decisions.

Develop end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and integrations.

Collaborate with Spanish-speaking stakeholders to define and deliver MVP capabilities.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Contribute to product strategy, technical direction, and continuous improvement of the solution.

Promote engineering best practices and provide technical leadership within the project team.

• Skills Description:

5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot. Hands-on experience in fullstack development, including backend services, frontend applications, APIs, and integrations.

Strong knowledge of React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience designing and building applications from scratch, including MVPs and greenfield projects.

Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, performance, and maintainability principles.

Experience working with microservices, REST APIs, and modern application architectures.

Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) throughout the software development lifecycle.

Ability to evaluate technical alternatives, create proof-of-concepts, and make pragmatic architectural decisions.

Understanding of software quality practices, including testing, code reviews, security, and automation.

Experience collaborating with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and drive technical discussions and decisions.

Fluent Spanish (C1 or higher) and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Spanish-speaking stakeholders.

• Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

Experience in the retail or fashion retail industry. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies.

Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, or acting as a technical reference within a team.

Experience building AI-powered products or integrating AI capabilities into applications.
