What you’ll be doing

• Improving the core PHP API that powers the Android and iOS apps, handling hundreds of millions of requests daily.
• Working closely with teams across the product to strengthen the backend for scalability and support the delivery of new features where needed.
• Contributing to the migration from PHP toward Go as the product scales.

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years backend engineering experience.
• Strong PHP and Go/Golang knowledge.
• Experience in a scaled consumer mobile app with millions of daily users.
• Based in Spain, Portugal, Germany or the UK.
