Banking and Finance Associate

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance team in Spain and support the Control & Reporting function within Iberia.

As Financial

Controller , you will support the Head of Controlling and collaborate closely with both the Control & Reporting and Accounting teams. This position plays a key role in monitoring financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, improving financial processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and Group standards. Monitor the economic and financial performance of the company, preparing internal reports and trend analyses to support decision-making.

Collect, analyse, and consolidate financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans in line with Group deadlines and local regulations. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and calculations to support key business decisions.

Prepare profitability and cost-efficiency analyses to optimize business performance. Evaluate and improve financial processes and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and data quality. Support bidding processes by collaborating with commercial and operational teams on financial evaluations.

Manage and report flight hours, insurance cost calculations, and travel expenses. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced level of English (written and spoken). High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. Good knowledge and experience working with SAP. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Controlling & Reporting environments.

Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting processes.

Experience supporting operational and commercial teams in financial evaluations or bidding processes.
