We are seeking a skilled and proactive BIM Consultant to support the implementation, management, and optimization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across projects. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650), improve data workflows, and enhance project delivery through digital methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation of BIM processes across projects.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP), protocols, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 19650, client requirements, and internal guidelines.
- Coordinate model development and information exchange among stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors).
- Define and manage Level of Development (LOD) and Level of Information Need (LOIN) requirements.
- Perform model audits, quality checks, and clash detection using BIM tools.
- Support the design and implementation of Common Data Environments (CDE).
- Provide technical guidance and training to project teams on BIM tools and workflows.
- Assist in defining BIM uses (e.g., coordination, quantity take-off, 4D/5D simulations).
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate BIM into project delivery strategies.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track BIM performance and maturity.
- Stay updated on BIM trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related.
- Proven experience in BIM roles (e.g., BIM Coordinator, BIM Specialist, BIM Consultant).
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, especially ISO 1965
- Proficiency in BIM software such a Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Other relevant tools (e.g., Solibri, Bentley).
- Experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle phases and construction processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in international and multidisciplinary teams
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Experience in BIM consultancy or advisory roles.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Dynamo, Python).
- Familiarity with digital construction technologies (e.g., digital twins, GIS integration).
- Experience with CDE implementation and data management strategies.
- BIM certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, buildingSMART).
