Responsibilities
- Assist with managing room inventory to maximize group revenue, maintaining accurate reservation system data.
- Assist with agenda preparation and support documentation for sales strategy meetings.
- Assist with administration of room rates and restrictions; communicate rate restrictions and strategies to properties.
- Assist in diagnosing accounts and monitoring individual and group inventory to ensure direct availability.
- Assist in implementing hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
- Direct technical questions regarding reservation systems and property management to the appropriate support office.
- Monitor compliance with company promotions and eCommerce channel participation.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional appearance; protect proprietary information.
- Receive and greet all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and attend to guest needs, and express genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally; answer phones with appropriate etiquette.
- Build and maintain positive labor relationships; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Meet expected quality control standards.
- Read and verify visual information in various formats.
- Lift, move, transport, push, pull and place objects up to 10 pounds (4.5 kg) without assistance; stand, sit or walk for long periods.
- Execute other reasonable job duties as requested.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development).
- Relevant work experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience.
- Supervisor experience: Not required.
- License or certification: None.
