Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), funded and owned by the EU, providing accurate positioning and timing information.
CETRA BASE is currently looking for versatile Engineers to be part of our Galileo Engineering team.
The position is based in Madrid.
Tasks and Responsibilities The successful candidate shall support the following tasks:
- Monitoring and identification of cybersecurity vulnerabilities
- Analysis and prioritisation of vulnerabilities and security risks
- Deployment and verification of security patches and updates
- Analysis of security events and support to incident investigations
- Maintenance of vulnerability tracking databases and records
- Contribution to cybersecurity reporting and KPI monitoring
- Maintainance of security documentation and accreditation
- Support to audit activities
Essential qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or similar
- Minimun 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in operational or service-oriented environments
- Experience in maintaining technical documentation
- Excellent team worker
- Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
Demonstrated experience in some of the following:
- Security monitoring and vulnerability management
- Security accreditation or certification activities
- Linux and Windows operating systems
- Virtualization platforms and container technologies
- Monitoring and security analysis tools
- Ticketing systems and incident tracking tools
Desirable
Experience in Space programmes.
Security In line with security requirements of the Galileo mission the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.
This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance. xugodme
