DATA ENGINEER ANALYST - Big Data Developer

Service Description

PRESENT CANDIDATES LOCATED IN MÁLAGA OR SURROUNDING AREAS.

Initially, they will not be required to go to the office, but the model may change at any time to onsite work X days per week. For this reason, candidates must be based in Málaga or nearby areas.

A free overlap period is required for knowledge transfer. This is a substitution role for approximately 6 months.

This is a Big Data Developer profile.

Responsibilities

Participation in the Initial Margin project to perform tasks as a Big Data Developer, including defining and automating processes developed with Big Data technologies (Spark Scala) in Market Risk. The candidate will also join a work team focused on common Big Data tasks in the area.

MANDATORY Requirements

Experience in technology-related projects

Technical knowledge of programming languages (Scala) and SPARK, Hadoop platforms

Intermediate knowledge of SQL statements

Experience in designing ETL processes and data models

Experience performing tests and data validation

Minimum English level B2

Basic knowledge of Shell scripting

DESIRABLE (Not mandatory)

Basic technical knowledge of Azure Databricks

Experience in the banking sector, specifically Market Risk

Knowledge of Airflow as a workflow/pipeline manager

More than 2 years of experience in a similar position.
