What do you need to fulfill this job?
- Design, develop, and optimize
- *PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions**
to support data integration, transformation, and processing workflows.
- Manage and maintain
- *Oracle databases**
, ensuring performance, reliability, and integrity across data pipelines and data marts.
- Build and automate
- *ETL processes**
for extracting, transforming, and loading data into analytical and operational data stores.
- Develop
- *Spring Boot services**
to support data ingestion, API-driven integrations, and backend automation.
- Create, enhance, and troubleshoot
- *Unix/Linux shell scripts**
to orchestrate jobs, automate data workflows, and manage system-level tasks.
- Collaborate with Data Architecture and Analytics teams to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable data delivery.
- Perform root-cause analysis, debugging, and performance tuning across database queries, ETL jobs, and application components.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of
- *data models and data mart structures**
, ensuring alignment with business and reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, quality standards, and security requirements.
- Support production environments, including proactive monitoring and incident resolution.
- *Required Skills & Experience**
- Strong expertise in
- *Oracle**
and advanced
development.
- Proficiency in
- *Unix/Linux scripting**
(bash, ksh, or similar).
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining
- *ETL processes**
and data integration workflows.
- Solid understanding of
- *data warehousing concepts**
, star/snowflake schemas, and data mart modeling.
- Strong experience building backend services with
- *Java + Spring Boot**
.
- Familiarity with job schedulers (Cron, Autosys, Control-M, or similar).
- Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues across multiple layers.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kafka, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures.
