Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer with strong architectural expertise to design and deliver scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role requires a senior-level professional who can lead solution design, guide customers through architecture decisions, and ensure successful end-to-end delivery, rather than purely hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable data platforms on GCP
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Design and implement high-performance data pipelines (batch & streaming)
• Architect and manage data lakes and data warehouses on GCP
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and scalability across solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during project delivery
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows
• Drive best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, analysts, engineers)

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification (MANDATORY)
• 7 years of experience in data engineering and cloud solutions
• Strong experience in solution design and architecture on GCP
• Proven experience in:
• BigQuery
• SQL (advanced level)
• Data ingestion & data tokenization
• Apache Airflow
• Strong programming skills in Python (data structures, algorithms, system design)
• Experience building batch and streaming data pipelines
• Experience with data lakes and data warehouses on GCP
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with ability to lead design discussions with clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical consulting / client-facing roles
• Advanced SQL optimization (performance & cost tuning)
• Experience with Looker
• Strong understanding of streaming architectures & event delivery semantics
• Experience building production-grade Big Data solutions on cloud platforms
• Proven ability to collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams
