The Role
- Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services.
- Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025.
- Collaborate with global AWS teams to influence service evolution.
- Enhance day-to-day operations and ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents out-of-hours.
- Deliver scalable services and ensure a high-availability experience for EU customers.
What You'll Need
- National of an EU member state and residing in the EU.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge or experience in scripting (Bash, Python, or Ruby) or software development (Java, TypeScript, or similar).
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals for troubleshooting and optimization.
- Ability to execute standard operating procedures and follow operational best practices.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
