Lead the DevSecOps practices and processes within the organization
Develop and implement DevSecOps strategies for the organization.
Mentor other engineers in the adoption of Cybersecurity best practices.
Work with development and operations teams to automate security-based principles.
Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery.
Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
Participate in the design of Multiverse's toolbox interface.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; alternatively, significant work experience as a Software Engineer, with strong emphasis on Cybersecurity.
8+ years of experience working as DevSecOps Engineer.
Strong competence with Network Architecture and related technologies in AWS and/or Azure
Cybersecurity competence in SAST, DAST, SIEM, SSO, penetration testing, implementing cybersecurity controls.
Competence with Red Team / Blue Team / Purple Team tactics
Experience with Cybersecurity Incident Response protocols
Competence in cryptographic controls, such as SSH key handling, logging, and auditing.
Competence with Key Management Service, key rotation solutions, and automation.
Candidates with AWS, Azure and/or Security certifications will be prioritized, especially AWS Certified Security, AWS Certified Advanced Networking.
Additional certifications in Cybersecurity and/or Networking (CCNA, CCNP, etc) are highly desirable.

Build and operate the platform infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance

Architect and implement multi-cloud platforms (Azure + AWS) with an emphasis on scalability, resilience, security, and cost-efficiency.
Lead the design of enterprise IaC frameworks using Terraform/Terragrunt, enforcing modularity, reusability, and compliance standards.
Define cloud networking architecture (hub/spoke, hybrid connectivity, firewalls, routing) and lead troubleshooting of complex network issues.
Establish guardrails, governance, and best practices for cloud security, identity, encryption, data protection, and monitoring.
Own and evolve the organisation-wide CI/CD strategy using Azure DevOps and Bitbucket.
Architect end-to-end pipelines integrating automated testing, security scanning, policy enforcement, and multi-environment deployments.

Platform Reliability, Operations, and Security
Oversee platform health, performance, and cost governance across cloud workloads.
Champion DevSecOps practices, embedding security controls into infrastructure and pipelines.
Implement enterprise standards for backup, disaster recovery, observability, auditability, and incident response.
Cross-Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Act as the senior technical point of contact for development, IT, data, networking, and security teams.
Drive architectural alignment across domains and guide engineering teams during planning, reviews, and delivery.
Play an active leadership role in SCRUM/Agile ceremonies, influencing planning and prioritization.
Communicate platform strategies, risks, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
These reflect senior-level ownership extending beyond core DevOps expectations:
Lead the deployment and governance of Azure Databricks, including clusters, workspace security models, and Unity Catalog administration.
Define scalable access patterns, workspace orchestration standards, and integrations across the wider cloud data ecosystem.
Complex Environment & Platform Operations
Architect and govern multi-environment strategies for dev/test/prod, ensuring stable, predictable releases.
Establish standards for artifact repositories and package lifecycle management.
Lead design and deployment of Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS) and govern operational best practices.
Database & Application Stack Ownership
Guide SQL database configuration, operations, DR strategy, and integrations.
Oversee application stack mapping and infrastructure dependencies for operational clarity.
Produce high-quality architecture diagrams, cloud topology maps, and network schematics for engineering and leadership.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, automation frameworks, and platform services.
