Arco Irish are leading the search and selection process for a Director of Business Development for EI Electronics in Spain. About EI Electronics EI Electronics are a leading fire detection and life-safety solutions provider, trusted for high-quality products that protect people and property. The company is expanding its footprint in Spain and are now looking to appoint a commercially driven, technically proficient leader to establish and grow its presence from the ground up.

This is a strategic role with autonomy, backed by a global team with a long-term growth mindset. As the first EI Electronics team member on the ground in Spain, you will have the opportunity to co-create and execute a market-entry strategy, drive commercial relationships, and influence specifications across residential and public-sector segments. You will work closely with HQ and international colleagues while building a local network of distributors, specifiers, housing/regional authorities, and installers.

This role combines business development, training, and technical leadership to establish EI Electronics as the trusted partner in Spain. Sales & Market Development Implement a strategic plan to grow Spain-wide market share for fire detection, accessories, and cloud-connected products. conduct quarterly reviews and promotional planning.

Installer

Engagement & Training Deliver high-quality product training, demonstrations, and technical presentations to installers, contractors, and service companies. Develop training materials with input from technical and marketing teams; promote best practices in installation, compliance, and local regulations. Secure specification of EI systems on residential projects; Monitor local legislation, standards, and compliance requirements related to fire safety, air quality, TEC, and related areas.

Provide regular forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports. At least 5 years successful B2B sales, channel development, and strategic partnerships. remote leadership is an advantage. strong relationship-building and networking abilities. Technical acumen in Residential Life Safety/Home Automation; Excellent communication skills, including remote collaboration, presentations, and executive updates.
