Recruiting recent graduates for Airbus’s full‑time Graduate Program – DISCOVER II 2026/2027 – in Spain. The program starts on 5 October 2026 and ends on 1 October 2027, with selections taking place between April and July 2026.
Internship Description The program combines a Master in three training blocks with an 11‑month internship at Airbus. You will work full time (40 h per week), receive an attractive study grant and gain experience in the space sector, supporting key programs such as Earth Observation, Telecom satellites, Science missions and Space Exploration.
Role: Procurement Intern – Airbus Defence & Space
You will support the Space Systems Procurement team and the Commodity, Project Supply and Quality managers in securing on‑time, on‑quality and on‑cost deliveries for satellite and space‑exploration projects.
Assist Commodity Managers in market analysis, supplier benchmarking, RFI/RFP support and tender analysis for space commodities; update supplier profiles and track contract coverage; monitor cost evolution and savings.
Help Project Supply Managers secure material availability, consolidate satellite demand, support risk & opportunity reviews, track critical flight parts, and prepare supply‑chain inputs for programme reviews.
Support Supply Chain and Quality managers by monitoring supplier on‑time delivery performance, following up on delivery schedules, escalating risks, participating in schedule meetings, tracking non‑conformances and coordinating supplier audits.
Execute transversal tasks: create procurement and programme dashboards, ensure compliance with Airbus ethics, export control, REACH and ECSS, and support digitalisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Education: Bachelor or Master in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
Computer skills: proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP, dashboards, Power BI is a plus.
Languages: English Level B2; French, German or Spanish a plus.
Soft skills: analytical and problem‑solving abilities, teamwork, strong collaboration, and capacity to work in complex international environments.
Interest: passion for space, advanced procurement and supply‑chain management.
Full‑time internship (40 h/week) for 11 months.
