EMEA General accountant

We are looking for an EMEA General accountant to join the Finance team to be responsible for record to report process and tax and statutory submissions.

The General accountant will cover the entire EMEA region and assist all internal partners to ensure a reliable record to report process

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax and Statutory SubmissionsParticipate to all EMEA VAT submissions on a monthly basis related to our entities and in all local countries where VAT has been generated.Monitor VAT rate changes in EMEA regionParticipate in all intrastats & ESL submissions for countries eligibleParticipate in all e-reporting requirements & e-invoicing processesProcess tax payments and returns based on the submissions preparedComply with financial policies and regulations by liaising with auditors in order to prepare timely and accurate statutory and legal documentsParticipate in Audits and Tax audits from outside partners and tax authorities

Record to report ProcessSubmit in shared service platform all invoices for booking and paymentAudit the bookings done at HQ level to ensure accurate information in financial statementsAnalyze different general ledger accounts regularly : Validation of data, generation of accurate accruals on expensesAnalyze intercompany flows

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

Previous experience in accounting in an international environment is a must have.Accuracy and attention to detail is crucial.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to work on your own initiative.Communicate accurately and in a fast paced, teamwork environment.Flexibility and adaptability to constantly changing conditions.Able to complete tasks with minimal supervision, ability to multitask.

Fluent in EnglishFluent in Spanish

COMPUTER SKILLS

Excellent with Excel & PowerPointWorking knowledge on SAP is a plus
