Finance Management Reporting and Control Analyst We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Finance Management Reporting and Control Analyst to join our Management Accounting Team within the Finance function, to help us in our ambition to be a strategic partner to ING Spain management and business leaders.

Role Overview As part of the Management Accounting Team, you will act as an advisor to various stakeholders (EXCO, Retail tribes, WB teams, COO domain etc.) by delivering timely, rigorous, and insightful information and helping bring the bank's strategy into execution. You will help different teams make financial forecasts, track actuals vs. budget, and drive initiatives to improve forecasts. You will also play a key role in the monthly P&L closing process and build reports for monthly management reporting to Head Office and the local Executive Committee.

Additionally, you will be responsible for producing comprehensive bank strategy reports (MIS, QPC…) that serve as a key input for strategic discussions.

Key Responsibilities - Responsible for the monthly management reporting to Head Office.

  • Build the report for actuals and forecast for: Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, FTEs, etc. for Retail Banking (Private Individuals, PriBa & Buba) and Wholesale Banking.
  • Build a solid network with Global Finance colleagues to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.
  • Produce strategic management reports (QPC, MIS) and coordinate with stakeholders across the bank, synthesizing information, comparing actual results against targets, analyzing deviations, and providing value‑added commentary.
  • Coordinate with the Financial Accounting area for the monthly closing, analyzing evolution versus target.
  • Research and monitor competition, keeping an eye on the market.
  • Understand processes and identify opportunities to simplify them, driving efficiency at both bank-wide and team level.

Qualifications - Master or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in banking and/or consulting).

  • Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Well‑developed cooperation and communication skills to act as a linking pin and smoothly interact with all departments and colleagues.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English (must).
  • Ability to simplify complexity.
  • Early adopter of new technologies.
  • High level of autonomy, initiative, and personal responsibility.
  • Strong curiosity, eager to learn, and stay on top of trends and developments.
