Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Set clear goals and objectives for team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations. Promote continuous learning and development initiatives to enhance the skills and competencies of the finance team. Ensure career development opportunities for team members according to the career plan.
Oversee all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll. Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address any findings or recommendations. Reporting and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial analytical reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic initiatives.
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
Finance ~ Anticipate and conduct financial operations to ensure appropriate balance sheet positions, especially with regards to regulatory equity requirements.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and strategic investments. Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash management, including forecasting and risk mitigation. Evaluate financing options and manage relationships with financial institutions to secure favorable terms.
Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company's assets and interests. Establish and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial integrity and prevent fraud. Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to anticipate and address potential risks.
Profile and skills required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within SaaS / Financial Services environments. Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative and results‑driven team environment.
Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices. Proven track record of driving financial performance and achieving business objectives. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong ability to operate in an international environment.
