We’re now looking for a
Financial Controller
reporting directly to our
Finance Director / CFO
, with a key role in ensuring
tournament profitability, cash visibility, and high-quality reporting
to support strategic decision-making.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will take full ownership of financial control across tournaments and events, including:
- Full financial control:
budgeting, cost tracking, profitability analysis
, post-event close
- Cash flow & treasury management
(international payments/collections planning)
- Preparation and monitoring of
annual + tournament budgets
, deviations and corrective actions
- Monthly management reporting:
P&L by tournament
, consolidated results, cash flow, KPIs
- Support during
monthly/annual closings
and ensure accounting accuracy
- Expense control and validation (prize money, hospitality, production, travel, suppliers)
- Manage and optimise
Microsoft Dynamics
(data quality, reporting, process improvement)
- Partner with operations/tournament teams to support economic decisions
- Coordinate with external advisors and auditors when needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in
Business Administration, Economics, Finance
or similar
- 1-4 years
experience as a Controller (project-based / event-driven / international preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Dynamics knowledge (mandatory)
- Advanced
Excel
and reporting skills
- Strong experience in
cash management, forecasting and budget control
- Analytical, hands-on, business-oriented mindset
- Fluent
Spanish and English
(additional languages a plus)
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments with peak workloads around tournaments
- Availability to travel

- Experience in
sports, events or entertainment
- Knowledge of
Power BI
or other BI tools
- Multi-currency and international supplier experience
