About Emotion
At, our mission is to simplify the transition to electric mobility through comprehensive, customer-focused services. Were dedicated to making the process, from choosing the right electric vehicle to installing home or workplace EV chargers, as seamless as possible.

The Role
Were looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our small product team as the technical lead . Youll still write code, this is a hands-on role, but youll also own the technical direction, mentor other developers, and be a key voice in business and product decisions, not just an executor of tickets.
What Youll Do
Own the technical roadmap
- Plan and prioritise what gets built, aligning engineering effort with business goals.
- Translate strategy into a coherent technical plan and make sure the team works on the right things.
- Make architectural decisions independently and be accountable for their outcomes.
- Design and ship internal platforms that eliminate manual work and increase operational capacity.

- Run regular 1-to-1s and contribute to career development conversations
- Act as the reporting figure for the tech team.
- Sit in on business strategy discussions and have a genuine say in where the company goes. This role gives you real visibility into how the business operates beyond the engineering lane. You’ll be a key member of the management team, involved in the decisions that shape the company.
- Bring a critical mindset to every decision — asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and making sure what gets built is always worth building.
- Think from a user experience and product perspective before jumping into implementation.

nothing overly complex,but youll need to be comfortable diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues when they arise.
- AI tooling: we actively build AI-powered solutions and use AI tools to move faster;
comfort with thisis expected, not a bonus.
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience, we care more about what you can do than how long youve been doing it.
- Solid command of TypeScript and the React / Next.Js ecosystem.
- Genuinely AI-first: you don’t just use AI tools, you’re always looking for ways to get more out of them, both in how you develop and in the solutions you build. You see AI as a permanent part of how good work gets done, and you’ll actively push the team to use it more and better, not wait to be convinced.
- Comfortable working autonomously, youll be the only senior developer, so you need to be confident making technical decisions without someone to validate every step.
- Proactive and self-directed, when you hit an unknown, you find a way through it.
- Calm under uncertainty, you dont freeze when something breaks or when the path forward isnt clear.
- Strong product intuition you think about user experience and business value, not just implementation.
- Curious and growth-oriented, you want to understand the business, not just the codebase.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, pivot-friendly environment, priorities shift, and that energises rather than frustrates you.
- Fluent in English (required);
Spanish and/or Catalan is a plus.
- 55,000–60,000 € / year, depending on experience.
- Hybrid setup: 3 days at Norskén Coworking (next to the W Hotel, sea views), 2 days remote.
- Strategic access: youll be in the room where business decisions are made, not just building what others decide.
- Real ownership: small team, real impact;
what you ship matters immediately.
- Growth beyond tech: exposure to business strategy, operations, and product that most developer roles simply dont offer.
- Room to grow into a lead: an ideal step for a developer ready to take on technical leadership and expand beyond pure engineering.
- A great place to work: a collaborative, fun, fast-moving team that values your opinion and trusts you to deliver.
