Full Stack Engineer

We are hiring a Full Stack Java / React Engineer (focus on backend Java) to support a leading private‑banking organization during a key phase of its international digital transformation. This role sits within a highly regulated, global environment and offers strong technical impact and visibility.

This position is ideal for professionals with solid experience in Java and Spring Boot, who are open to working across the stack when needed, while maintaining a clear backend focus.

🌍 The Project

You will join an international private‑banking environment undergoing a major digital transformation. As part of a cross‑functional, highly skilled engineering team, you will contribute to the design and development of applications supporting core banking processes.

You will collaborate closely with developers, Solution Architects, service owners, and infrastructure teams, helping to build scalable, reliable, and modern solutions aligned with the organization’s global architecture.

💡 What We’re Looking For A Full Stack Engineer with a strong Java background, able to take ownership of backend development while also contributing to frontend work when required.

We do not expect you to be an expert in both frontend and backend domains. However, we do value professionals who are open, collaborative, and comfortable working across layers, with a clear focus on either backend or frontend — in this case, backend Java.

✔️ Strong Experience (Mandatory)

• Solid hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Proven experience designing and implementing service‑oriented architectures (SOA) and RESTful APIs
• Experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams within a DevOps‑centric model
• Good understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and modern engineering practices
• Strong knowledge of SQL, particularly Oracle
• Experience participating in code reviews and pull requests
• Pragmatic mindset, strong analytical thinking, and focus on high‑quality delivery
• Professional working proficiency in English (B2/C1)

✔️ Nice to Have

• Experience or affinity with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with Kafka, Avro, and streaming architectures
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (PKS) and virtualized environments
• Familiarity with OpenAPI and UML
• Background in private banking or other regulated industries
• IT education (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent practical experience)

📋 Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java, contributing to frontend tasks when required
• Work end‑to‑end: design, implementation, deployment, release, and monitoring
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design solutions aligned with the overall architecture vision
• Actively participate in agile processes such as planning, refinement, and retrospectives
• Review code, share knowledge, and promote engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement and internal engineering communities
