We're keen to appoint a Head of Primary with plenty of energy to inspire our staff and students from Year 1 to Year 6. Elian's British School is a private school with a school community of more than 40% international profile, located in La Nucía in a natural environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Suitably qualified for the position and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Up-to-date professional development.
  • Good understanding of the community and parents body.
  • High knowledge of UK National/International Curriculum requirements.
  • Highly effective team leader, able to motivate and engage other staff to be better at.
  • Recent experience in a Primary School which follows the UK National or International Curriculum.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching, learning and the achievement of every student.
  • Good oral and written communications skills in Spanish and English.
  • Commitment to continued personal and professional development.
  • Experience and skills in providing differentiated learning opportunities in order to support, meet and challenge the needs of all learners is essential.
  • Effective use of ICT to enhance learning and progress.
  • Engaging classroom communicator, with ideas for cross-curricular learning and wow moments.
  • Calm, kind, and firm approach to classroom management, so young learners feel secure.
  • Good team player.
  • Able to successfully track student progress.
  • Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
