We are looking for a Senior Group Controller to join our Finance team in Madrid.
In this strategic role, you will support the financial and operational performance of an international group operating across multiple countries through engineering offices, modular construction manufacturing facilities, and project execution joint ventures. Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership, you will provide financial insights that drive business decisions and enhance performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze the Group's financial information.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all entities.
- Monitor the profitability and performance of subsidiaries, manufacturing facilities, engineering offices, and international projects.
- Analyze financial variances, business risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare management reports, executive dashboards, and performance analyses.
- Monitor key financial indicators, cash flow, and working capital.
- Partner with senior management and business leaders to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial controlling, reporting, and performance management processes.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Business Analysis.
- Experience in international and multi-entity organizations.
- Strong understanding of consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and performance management.
- Previous experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare projects, EPC, or related industries.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
