Java Developer

KYC Tech and Engineering are seeking a skilled Java Developer. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services, and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
2. Develop and deploy applications using microservices architecture principles.
3. Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
4. Integrate batch workflows and scheduling using Control-M.
5. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
6. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

1. Strong experience in Core Java and Spring Boot.
2. Experience building APIs.
3. Hands-on-experience with microservices architecture.
4. Experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).
5. Experience integrating enterprise schedulers such as Control-M.
6. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
7. Familiar with containerized deployments and OpenShift.
8. Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
9. Experience with monitoring tools.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
