Javascript/Node.js Developer

Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NodeJS Develop and optimize database interactions using SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL) Build and consume RESTful APIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability Support integration and enhancement of existing systems Mandatory Qualification Requirements Backend Development: Strong proficiency in NodeJS Databases: Solid experience with SQL (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL) Interfaces: Practical, hands-on experience with REST APIs Language Skills: Business-fluent English Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes NoSQL: Initial experience with Redis and/or MongoDB Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Financial Market Data Languages: German – intermediate level is a plus for local team integration Ideal Candidate Profile Pragmatic and delivery-focused backend engineer Comfortable working in modern, containerized environments Able to collaborate effectively in an international, English-speaking setup Interested in financial data and API-driven architectures
