ph3bAbout the job /b /h3 pBased at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona within the Engineering Department, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure that all hotel facilities, equipment, and technical systems operate efficiently and safely.
Technician reports to the Chief Engineer / Engineering Supervisor. /p h3bAs Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for: /b /h3 ul liPerforming preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across hotel facilities. /li liDiagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and masonry. /li liConducting regular inspections to ensure the proper condition and functionality of equipment and installations. /li liResponding promptly to maintenance requests and incidents reported by different hotel departments. /li liCoordinating and collaborating with external contractors and service providers when required. /li liKeeping accurate and up-to-date maintenance records using established management systems. /li liEnsuring full compliance with health safety, environmental, and operational regulations. /li liMaintaining cleanliness, organization, and optimal condition of technical areas, workshops, and storage spaces. /li liSupporting continuous improvement initiatives related to hotel facilities and equipment. /li /ul h3bAs Maintenance Technician, we expect from you: /b /h3 ul liStrong technical and problem‑solving skills across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, etc.). /li liPrevious experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role (minimum 2 years preferred). /li liBasic knowledge of maintenance management systems. /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. /li liHigh level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. /li liFlexibility and availability to work shifts if required. /li liGood communication skills and service‑oriented mindset. /li liBasic English language skills. /li /ul h3bOur commitment to you /b /h3 pbLearning Development /bbr/Your success is our success.
