In this Medior Backend Software Engineer role, you contribute to developing cloud-based web applications for ports and terminals. You join a cross-functional team, working from design to deployment to maintain scalable, reliable software. You’ll build and consume RESTful APIs within a microservices ecosystem, leveraging real-time data and AI-driven insights.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain Java (Spring Boot) web features
• Participate in full SDLC including testing, deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with Product Managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into solutions
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to Kafka-based integrations
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews to raise standards
• Implement intuitive UIs aligned with UX/UI designs
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; create automated tests
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technical discussions

Requisitos principales

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience (Java)
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing, developing, or consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of microservices and asynchronous communication xugodme
• Knowledge of clean code and software development best practices
• Experience with automated testing for frontend and backend
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, team-oriented with good communication in English
• Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment
