Currently, for the new Seargin project we are looking for Netsuite (Java Script) Developer.

Location: Hybrid from Barcelona

Form of employment: B2 B/Employment Contract

We are looking for a Senior Java Script Engineer to join our Business Applications team within the IT department. This role focuses on building, extending, and integrating enterprise applications that support critical business processes, with Net Suite as a key platform. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, and other business teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions across our business applications landscape, contributing both strong Java Script engineering skills and practical Net Suite experience.

Responsibilities

Business Applications Development

Design, develop, and maintain Java Script-based solutions supporting enterprise and business-critical applications.

Build and enhance Net Suite customizations using Suite Script (2.0/2.1), including User Event, Client, Scheduled Scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets.

Apply software engineering best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.

Develop and implement custom tools and applications to streamline and support the daily operational needs of business teams, extending capabilities beyond existing enterprise platforms.

ERP and Systems Integration

Customize and extend Net Suite workflows and UI components using Suite Flow and Suite Builder.

Develop and maintain integrations between Net Suite and other business systems (CRM, HRIS, data platforms, third-party Saa S) using REST/SOAP APIs, Suite Talk, and middleware platforms.

Support Net Suite implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and integration initiatives.

Analysis, Support, and Optimization

Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across business applications, integrations, and data flows.

Contribute to improving system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Collaboration and Technical Leadership

Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and application owners within IT.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members when needed.

Stay current with platform updates, especially Net Suite releases and Java Script best practices, ensuring alignment with security and Dev Sec Ops principles.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Java Script Developer.

Strong expertise in modern Java Script (ES6+) and API-driven development.

Hands-on experience working with Net Suite in a business applications or ERP context, including Suite Script v1.0, v2.0.

Experience with enterprise integration technologies, including consuming and exposing APIs (REST, SOAP, or similar).

Saved Searches and Net Suite data model fundamentals.

Experience supporting enterprise or business-critical systems.

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
