We are looking for a highly motivated Physical Chemistry & Raw Materials Specialist based in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in physical chemistry and raw materials, supporting projects in material characterization, evaluation and development.
Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in physical chemistry and raw materials to support R&D and technical projects
- Evaluate, characterize and select raw materials for product development and production processes
- Analyze material properties and provide recommendations for performance improvement
- Conduct laboratory tests, interpret results and prepare technical reports
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, Quality and Manufacturing
- Support troubleshooting activities related to raw materials and formulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field
- 1–5 years of professional experience in physical chemistry or raw materials
- Strong knowledge of material characterization techniques and analytical methods
- Experience in laboratory or industrial environments
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Based in Barcelona or willing to work onsite
- Salary starting from €27,000 gross per year
