Lumina Academy is a bilingual English–Spanish primary school that blends Waldorf principles with contemporary educational practice. The role involves teaching children across Grades 1 to 6 in a small, mixed‑age classroom of approximately seven international students.

The Role

• Deliver engaging lessons in core primary subjects.
• Create a warm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum and school projects.
• Participate in school events, family activities and community initiatives.
• Contribute positively to a bilingual and international school culture.

Requirements

Essential

• Recognised teaching qualification for primary education.
• Waldorf teaching qualification or training.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish; able to teach fluently in one language.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Genuine passion for children's education and wellbeing.

Desirable

• Experience in alternative, holistic or project‑based education.
• Knowledge of child development and neurodiversity.
• Experience working in bilingual or international school environments.
