We are supporting a fast-growing international technology and manufacturing company looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist (Electronics) to join its Supply Chain team in Barcelona.
This role will focus on the sourcing and procurement of electronic components, technical materials, and manufacturing-related products supporting a highly dynamic production environment.

You will work closely with international suppliers and stakeholders on a daily basis, conducting negotiations, supplier meetings, and commercial discussions in English.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage purchase orders from creation through delivery.
- Lead RFQs, RFPs, supplier sourcing and vendor selection activities.
- Source and manage suppliers of electronic components, electromechanical assemblies, PCB-related products, connectors, cable assemblies, and other technical materials.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual commitments are met.
- Monitor component availability, lead times, obsolescence risks, and supply constraints to support uninterrupted production activities.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to identify alternative components, second-source suppliers, and risk mitigation strategies when required.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, delays, capacity constraints, and quality issues.
- Track deliveries, supplier commitments, and procurement KPIs.
- Maintain accurate procurement information within ERP systems.
- Support supplier onboarding and qualification processes.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, spend analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Materials, and Operations teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain functions.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
- Strong experience managing suppliers, purchase orders, and sourcing activities.
- Experience running RFQs, RFPs, tenders, or supplier selection processes.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Reporting).
- Professional-level English (written and spoken).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience sourcing electronic components, technical materials, or manufacturing-related products.
- Familiarity with electronic component supply chains, lead-time management, and supplier qualification processes.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar.
- Experience with composite materials, machined components, or other engineered materials would be considered an advantage.
