Product Owner, Data Platforms, FinTech, Malaga, Hybrid, Up to €56,000 base salary
We’re hiring a Product Owner to join a high-growth fintech building out its data platform capabilities in Málaga. This role sits at the heart of an open banking product, owning how financial data is accessed, structured and delivered via APIs to customers across Europe.
You’ll be working on a platform that powers connectivity between banks, fintechs and digital products, helping shape how account data is exposed, enriched and consumed at scale.
Own the product backlog for data and API products, defining user stories and working closely with engineering teams
Drive roadmap and delivery for data platform capabilities including account data, transactions and enrichment
Work cross-functionally with engineering, compliance and commercial teams to deliver scalable, reliable data products
Translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into clear product features
Continuously improve product performance through data, feedback and iteration
Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical or platform environment
Strong understanding of APIs, data platforms or backend systems
Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile environments
Background in fintech, banking or regulated environments is a strong plus
Comfortable owning complex products end-to-end
Exposure to open banking, PSD2 or financial data products
Experience with data pipelines, analytics platforms or API-based products
