Python Developer

Project Description:We are looking for a strong Python Developer with database expertise to join a banking project. The role focuses on backend development, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based solutions within a regulated financial environment.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on development skills with solid database knowledge and understands the quality, security, and compliance standards required in enterprise banking systems.

Most Important: Python, Terraform, GCPA plus is if: great SQL skills, experience with API Based Customer Search services/backendsGerman language (nice, but not needed)

Responsibilities:Design and develop backend services using PythonBuild and maintain infrastructure using TerraformDevelop and operate cloud-native solutions on GCP (Google Cloud Platform)Work with relational databases (design, optimization, query tuning)Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutionsContribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processesCollaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholdersEnsure compliance with banking security and regulatory standardsSupport production systems and participate in incident analysis when needed

Mandatory Skills Description:Strong experience with Python (backend development, APIs, services)Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)Practical experience with GCPSolid understanding of database systems and data modelingExperience working in enterprise or regulated environmentsUnderstanding of secure coding practicesExperience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
