Role: Python Solutions Engineer (automation)

Location: hybrid in Barcelona

Contract: permanent

Language: Spanish and English fluent

Your Tasks

Design, develop, and deploy robust Python-based solutions to automate complex workflows and client-side processes.

Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and components that can be adopted across teams.

Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and high-quality software delivery.

Promote best practices in version control, including branching strategies, code reviews, and repository management.

Work closely with business teams to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, infrastructure, development) to ensure alignment with technical standards and compliance requirements.

Provide guidance on automation strategy, tools, and best practices to support long-term scalability.

Define and implement governance and development standards within the Python ecosystem.

Ensure secure development practices by working alongside security teams, including code reviews and vulnerability management.

Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Your Profile

Strong experience in Python, particularly in automation and building scalable solutions.

Hands-on experience with Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.

Solid understanding of security best practices and development governance. xugodme

Comfortable working with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
