As an international company, we are looking for a QA/QC Manager to be based in our Madrid Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards and procedures across our EPC projects, while overseeing quality control activities in our three core business areas: Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and High Voltage (HV) Infrastructure/Substations.
This role will play a key part in ensuring consistent quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our international project portfolio.
Quality Management: Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, and QMS requirements. Advance quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization. Develop and implement the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operational activities.
Plan duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules. Identify and develop QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs. Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to all QA/QC personnel.
Inspection and Process Management: Manage project site integrity through failure analysis reporting systems and follow up on recommendations. Oversee supervision of all visual inspections, including third-party subcontractors. Manage inspection testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterations.
Ensure compliance with safety programs and local jurisdictional and regulatory authorities. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Must-Have: Proven, hands-on experience with Solar PV projects and HV Substations.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs.
English language skills (Advanced Level). Strong competencies in communication, planning, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving. Strong time management skills and discipline.
