- Leadership qualities, creativity in marketing and effective communication skills.
- Good persuasion skills along with listening and understanding the needs of customers to fulfil them accordingly.
- Good Negotiating skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales.
- Knowledge of English at the Intermediate Level and above.
Job Description for Sales Agent:
- His/her main duties include persuading buyers to buy our company's products.
- Communicating with buyers regarding new queries and updates.
- Planning for new season’s sampling and production orders.
- Submission of samples to the buyers and communicating for further action.
- Follow up with buyers for approvals and feedback.
- Update the buyers with the order status at all stages.
- Visit the buyer’s site /premises from time to time.
- Sourcing of new samples/ materials for new development.
- Making sales presentations and representing the company in a market.
- Maintaining files and Accounts for all the buyers.
- Regularly updating Time and Action calendar.
- Follow up for timely payments.
- Service existing accounts, obtaining orders and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential buyers.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
