SAP Payroll Consultant

SAP Senior Spanish Payroll Consultant | SAP HCM PY | Fully Remote | €525/day | 6 Month B2B Contract

We are currently supporting a global customer on the search for an experienced SAP Senior Spanish Payroll Consultant to join a long-term payroll transformation and support programme.

This role requires a strong SAP HCM Payroll specialist with deep Spanish PY expertise, capable of leading payroll configuration, resolving complex issues, and supporting end-to-end delivery across international environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP HCM Spanish Payroll (PY) configuration and solution design
• Manage complex payroll schemas, PCRs, and payroll integrations
• Ensure compliance with Spanish payroll legislation and regulatory requirements
• Support payroll testing, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution
• Participate across the full project lifecycle including design, build, testing, training, and post-go-live support
• Act as the SME for SAP HCM Payroll internally and externally
• Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge sharing across the team
• Identify risks, provide solutions, and support delivery quality
• Work closely with stakeholders across functional and technical teams

Key Experience Required

• 10+ years SAP HCM Spanish Payroll (PY) experience
• Strong hands-on configuration experience within SAP Payroll
• Expertise with payroll schemas and PCRs
• Experience integrating Payroll with Time Management and Finance (FI)
• Strong understanding of Spanish payroll compliance and legislation
• Experience working on complex international SAP HCM programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent English and Spanish language skills

• Previous experience leading payroll workstreams or teams
• Strong mentoring and leadership capability
• Experience in global support or transformation environments
