Freelance SAP Project Manager - S/4HANA Implementation - Bilbao, Spain - September Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance SAP Project Manager to join a major SAP S/4HANA implementation programme for a leading client based in Bilbao, Spain .

Location: Bilbao, Spain (Hybrid)

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Initial 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension

Language: Fluent Spanish is essential The Role

As the SAP Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of key workstreams within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementation activities
• Oversee project planning, governance, budgets, risks, and timelines
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management
• Drive issue resolution and ensure successful project execution
• Support business readiness and change management activities

Required Experience

• Proven track record delivering SAP implementation projects as a Project Manager
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA programmes
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments
• Fluent Spanish and strong English communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from Bilbao
