From Timup, a recruitment consultancy, we are supporting a fast-growing technology company in the search for a Senior Account Executive focused on the Telco sector.This role will play a key part in driving international growth, owning new business acquisition and managing complex sales cycles with top-tier telecom operators. Responsibilities:Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting to closing, targeting international Telco accountsFocus on acquiring new clients, especially Tier 1 telecom operators, while also engaging selected Tier 2 playersProactively generate pipeline through outbound activity, industry network and market presenceIdentify, qualify and develop high-value opportunities in complex and long sales environmentsEngage with senior stakeholders (C-level, CTO, IT, Network, Cloud, Innovation teams)Understand client needs and translate complex technical solutions into clear business valueLead strategic deals, including commercial structuring, negotiation and closingNavigate multi-layered sales processes, including procurement, technical validation and internal alignmentDevelop and execute account plans for key operatorsCollaborate closely with pre-sales, product, marketing and solution teamsBuild long-term relationships with clients and ecosystem partnersContribute to refining go-to-market strategy and value proposition based on market feedback Profile+10 years of experience in B2B sales within the Telco sectorProven track record selling to Tier 1 telecom operatorsStrong experience managing long, complex and multi-stakeholder sales cyclesDemonstrated success closing large, strategic dealsSolid understanding of telecom and infrastructure environments (5G, cloud, networks, edge or similar)International sales experience is requiredFluent English (mandatory). Additional languages such as German or French are a plusStrong hunter mindset with a focus on new business generationAbility to open strategic accounts and build pipeline from scratchHigh credibility with senior and technical stakeholdersAbility to translate complex solutions into business impactStrong negotiation and closing capabilitiesStrategic thinking combined with hands-on executionAutonomous, results-driven and comfortable in fast-paced environments
