We are currently working with a fast-growing international fintech, seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their core systems team. This is a key role where you’ll work on the platform’s multi-currency accounting and FX systems – the backbone of the product.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems that power key financial operations.
• Design new services and improve existing ones, tackling both microservices and legacy code.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver initiatives end-to-end.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team. xcskxlj
• Take full ownership of the services you build, from development to maintenance.

Your profile:

• Strong experience building complex backend systems (Python preferred, other OOP languages also welcome)
• Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments is highly valued
• Comfortable working with legacy code and improving it over time
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integration, monitoring, and alerting
• Excellent communication skills in English (international team)
• Ownership mindset and responsibility over production systems
