Senior Mobile Engineer React Native

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to help us build and evolve Factorial’s mobile experience.

This is not just a React Native role. We’re looking for someone who can own mobile development end-to-end : from architecture and product decisions to native modules, CI/CD, DevOps and production deployments.

You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to build high-quality experiences used by a large and growing customer base, while helping shape how we build mobile software at Factorial.

What you’ll do

• Build and evolve high-quality mobile applications using React Native and Expo .
• Design and maintain native modules when the product requires capabilities beyond the React Native layer.
• Own features end-to-end , from technical discovery and architecture to development, testing, CI/CD and production deployment.
• Take ownership of the mobile engineering lifecycle, including DevOps, release processes, monitoring and performance .
• Partner closely with Product and Design to turn business and user needs into simple, scalable mobile experiences.
• Contribute to technical decisions and help define the mobile architecture and engineering standards .
• Use AI-driven development tools and workflows to increase engineering productivity, quality and speed.
• Identify opportunities to improve our development processes, tooling and overall developer experience.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Help us build a culture of ownership, autonomy and continuous improvement .

What we’re looking for

• Strong professional experience building production-grade applications with React Native .
• Solid experience with Expo and the Expo ecosystem .
• Hands-on experience designing or developing native modules and integrating native iOS/Android capabilities with React Native.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance, testing and scalability.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processes .
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and the tooling required to take a mobile product from development to production.
• A strong product mindset : you care about the problem we are solving, not just the code you are writing.
• Experience working with AI-assisted / AI-driven development workflows and an interest in continuously evolving how software is built.
• Strong ownership and autonomy: you are comfortable taking a problem from idea → solution → production → iteration .
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence technical decisions, mentor others and raise the engineering bar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

It’s a plus if you have

• Experience working on high-traffic or large-scale mobile applications .
• Experience contributing to or defining mobile technical strategy.
• Experience with Swift, Kotlin or native Android/iOS development .
• Experience with mobile observability, analytics, crash reporting and performance optimization.
• Experience working closely with Product and Design in a product-led engineering environment .
