Software Engineer (Java)

Since 2006 we have been focused on financial messaging and integration, being a SWIFT service partner. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java to join our team and contribute to building high-quality, scalable applications. This is a hybrid position based in Madrid, Spain, requiring on-site presence 3-times per week. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test new features and defect fixes

Build and maintain high-availability, API-driven applications

Ensure application quality, performance, responsiveness, and security

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems Requirements:

Must have

Proven experience with Java 17 or higher

Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Maven, and Tomcat

Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API-driven architecture

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Nice to have: Experience with cloud platforms

Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD)

Experience with AI-assisted development tools
