STACKIT - Cloud Foundry - Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• You develop and improve our Cloud Foundry platform, ensuring the platform's functionality and scalability.
• You ensure high software quality and optimal application performance through testing and code reviews.
• You provide seamless integration of the platform into surrounding STACKIT services, creating a user-friendly and customer-oriented platform.
• You contribute actively to our open-source projects, including the BOSH Cloud Provider Interface for STACKIT IaaS.
• You assume responsibility for the deployed services together with the product team ("You build it, you run it").
• You handle day-to-day platform operations and L3 support during business hours and participate in a night-time on-call rotation for incident escalations.

Your Profile

• You possess extensive programming experience, preferably in Go.
• You are familiar with the methods of professional software development (from development standards to build and release management).
• You bring several years of experience in software system architecture design, including design patterns, scalability, and resilience.
• You have practical experience with CI/CD workflows and automated software delivery pipelines.
• You have experience operating and maintaining scalable applications or cloud platforms in a live production environment.
• Your English forms the basis for successful communication in international, agile teams.
• Good to have: You have experience with Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes Operator Pattern.
