DevOps / Platform Engineer Barcelona (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite) We are looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to join a Cloud Business Unit currently evolving its DevOps platforms to support the organization's transition to public cloud as the primary application hosting environment. In this role, you will contribute to the development and reliability of the GitHub Enterprise Server platform and the SDLC backbone, helping to improve automation, CI/CD capabilities, governance, and developer experience across the organization. You will work in an Agile environment following SRE practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure development platforms.

What you will do Design and maintain infrastructure automation and platform capabilities Develop automation, integrations, and enterprise features for the GitHub Enterprise Server platform Support and evolve the organization's SDLC backbone Implement automation processes aligned with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring code quality and security before deployment Contribute to platform reliability, governance, and compliance Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to enhance developer tooling and practices Mentor and support engineers as the platform ecosystem grows What we are looking for ~5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or software engineering within enterprise environments ~ Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for infrastructure provisioning and automation ~ Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines ~ Experience working in cloud environments ~ Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including incident management and reliability ~ Experience working with enterprise development platforms and SDLC tooling ~ Scripting skills for automation ~ Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or SAFe) ~ Ability to mentor and support other engineers Nice to have Experience with GitHub Enterprise Server Experience in hybrid cloud environments Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems Experience working with enterprise governance or compliance requirements Experience with documentation and collaboration tools for knowledge and backlog management
