Systems Engineer Software Development

At Indra, we develop technology that shapes the future of air defence We are looking for Radar Systems Engineers to join our Defence programmes, contributing to the design and development of advanced algorithms for airborne radar systems in national and international projects. As a Radar Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of radar system capabilities, with responsibilities including: Design and development of advanced signal and data processing algorithms for airborne radar systems. Contribution to radar system performance analysis and algorithm validation , ensuring robustness and accuracy of tracking solutions.

Algorithm modelling, simulation and analysis using MATLAB or similar tools. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on international radar projects , ensuring the highest standards of quality and technical excellence. Minimum 3 years of experience in radar systems engineering, algorithm development or similar technical roles.

Radar system architecture design and/or radar performance prediction . Statistical signal processing for data analysis and prediction. Radar data processing and target tracking algorithms (e.g. Signal processing for radar systems and algorithm modelling in MATLAB .

Intermediate

English level (minimum B2) , spoken and written. Research background in radar technologies or a PhD will be considered a strong advantage. Degree in Telecommunications Engineering , ideally complemented with a Master’s degree . Long‑term projects in a leading Defence and Technology company with more than 50,000 professionals .
